The application is designed specifically for educational institutions, schools, librarians, and administrative staff. To facilitate library and student management, we collect:

• Account & School Details: School name, school code, administrator username, and email address used for authorized access.
• Student Academic Records: Student full name, roll number, admission number, class, section, father's name, and contact details provided by the school administration.
• Book Circulation & Inventory Records: Book accession numbers, titles, genres, issue and return logs, and textbook demand allocations.
• Photos for Student ID Cards: Photos uploaded or captured through the device camera to generate student identity cards.

2. Device Permissions Used

• Camera Permission: Required solely for real-time barcode/QR code scanning of library books and capturing student portrait photographs for school ID cards. Photos are never accessed without direct user action.
• Storage / Media: Used solely to allow downloading and exporting library reports, Excel data, and PDF student identity cards.
• Internet Access: Required to synchronize catalog data, student records, and verification status with your school's secure database server.

3. How We Use Information

The collected information is used strictly to:

• Provide school library cataloging, textbook distribution, and circulation services.
• Generate barcode labels, QR codes, and student ID cards.
• Maintain inventory audit trails and verification registers.
• Authenticate authorized school personnel.

We do not sell, rent, or trade student or institutional personal data to third parties or advertising brokers.

4. Data Security

All network communications between the mobile application and our servers are encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer / Transport Layer Security (HTTPS/SSL). Access to administrative functions requires authenticated credentials.

5. Children's Privacy

Our app does not directly target or solicit information directly from young children unsupervised. Student data is entered strictly by authorized school administrators, teachers, and librarians for legitimate school administrative operations under institutional oversight.

6. Account and Data Deletion

In compliance with Google Play Store User Data policies, users and educational institutions may request the deletion of their user accounts, student records, and associated data at any time. You can submit an account deletion request without logging into the application via our dedicated web portal at Request Account & Data Deletion or by emailing support@pbhome.in. Requests are verified and processed within 14–30 business days.
